Montréal-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Maara has carved out a distinctive niche with her innovative sound and energetic presence. Since her breakthrough ‘Ultimate Reward’ EP in 2021 she has toured far and wide, with releases on X-Kalay, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Spray’s Punctuality, home of her label debut ‘Drama On’.
Her introspective debut album ‘The Ancient Truth’ landed on Roza Terenzi’s Step Ball Chain, alongside the self-released anthem ‘Serving Cu*t’, and she debuted her live set at Montréal’s Mutek. Switching between energies, from poppy and playful to hard and relentless, she makes them all undeniably her own.
